Bobot Thuis
The producers of the Belgian soap opera Thuis asked me to build a remote controlled robot to be featured in one of their episodes. The premise was that Lowie built a remote-controlled robot so that his sick friend Bob can remotely join.
This was built with a Roomba 650 robot vacuum cleaner and the default IR-remote control. All unnecessary features such as vacuum cleaning were removed. Some extra lubrication of the wheels were needed to ensure a silent operation during filming.
